Extended Family Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team. Owned and operated by former caregivers, we have proudly served the greater Denver area for over 15 years. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 12 – 36 per week

Location: In-person, Denver, CO. Must be able to commute or relocate before starting work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
  • Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs.
  • Assist individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety while lifting or transferring as needed.
  • Implement care plans that respect resident rights and promote dignity.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Engage with clients diagnosed with autism or other disabilities, providing tailored support as necessary.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
  • Dementia caregiving experience required.
Qualifications

  • Core skills in caregiving such as patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Premium skills including first aid certification, experience in assisted living facilities, and the ability to create and implement care plans
  • Relevant skills in long-term care and social work to provide comprehensive support to residents
  • Experience in dementia care, management, and upholding residents' rights in a compassionate and respectful manner
